Frequently Asked Questions
Can a person really
make $50.00 per labor man hour?
When I say you can make $50.00
or $75.00 dollars per man hour, it depends on the type of accounts you go
after. Easy, small accounts that need only service weekly or less per month
are the ideal accounts on a high hourly. The more frequent the service, say
like five days per week service, the hourly could go down to $15.00 to $20.00
per man hour.
It also depends on your experience
and how badly you are in need of new business. For example, when I first got
into the cleaning business, I took a dirty health spa that needed to be cleaned
after 1AM for only $2.50 per man hour. (I did the work) That was the only
account I could get. I did it and it gave me a reference when I went after
other accounts. Plus it taught me how to clean tile in a shower. I had to
go through this path to get to the point I did with my cleaning business.
That point being that I could charge a higher price for the easier type office
cleaning accounts. That lead to creating a six figure income in a stress free
manner and having time to enjoy my life.
That is the purpose of this book,
to help you begin to recognize what the best accounts are to go after, how
to go after them and how to keep them happy.
"Will this
book give me secrets of marketing that are magic and will get me accounts
with very little effort?"
No, there is no magic. There is
no easy way. There is an effective way to get accounts with very little capital
needed. The best accounts are those acquired through building relationships.
This book emphasizes understanding the needs of your potential customers.
By understanding their needs, you can pinpoint their problems and emphasize
your solutions to those issues.
